    To Rotary Sweethearts from Martha:

    Hello Bernie,

I am sending you in attachment 2 files. One is a draft of the Rotary

Matching Grant final report and the 2nd is a table in Excel of how

the funds were actually spent. I hope they hold together in the

    transfer!

Please suggest any further explanations you need. As you will see,

the hospital made quite a few changes in how the funds were spent.

Honestly I was surprised and feel like we should've made it clearer

that they must keep us informed of every change.

Not only because of this, tonight I'm giving our club members a

little seminar in Rotary Matching Grant programs, project

    development, and administration.

I have been plagued recently with some major computer problems with

viruses and system breakdown and have lost the blank you sent for

the final report form for the Wild Rose Foundation. Can you please

send it or tell me if I can download it from somewhere? I want to

get all of this finished and mail it to you in hard copy with photos

when I fly to the US on March 3. So I need to keep on this.

Happy Valentines Day to all of the "sweethearts" in your club and

all of the other sponsor clubs.

    Warm regards,

    Martha Madsen

Those files are on the Yelizovo link on the left.

Peter Digs Out Greenbacks for Umbrella Bucks

Olive & I have an art show opening on Saturday 22nd. Feb. beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Round Street Gallery (formally the Monkey Girl Gallery).  It is opposite Galt Gardens at the south end of the block that contains Progress Clothing. The show runs until 20th. March.  There will be snacks & music so we're making it into a party.  All are welcome.  I have black & white photographs & Olive has her watercolours.  I intended to have invitations at Rotary on Monday, but since there will not be a meeting that will be difficult.  Unfortunately the opening will clash with the Rotary Sunrise theatre night - but that's what happens in Lethbridge.

The street address of the Round House Gallery is 122A 5th. Street South.  It is at the south end of the first block south of Park Place Mall.

If you plan to be free that evening - come along & add to the fun:  bring friends!

In other e-mail from Peter he indicates that Richard Dee King is unable to attend the opening.

    Shocking Story from Linda Storoz:

Two atoms were walking along when one tripped and fell.  "Oh golly, did you hurt yourself?" asked the first atom.

"Ouch, I think I lost an electron."

"Oh, that can be painful, are you sure?"

    "Yes, I'm positive."
