Hello,
Hahahaha My friends keep teasing me about my accent! At times i don't sport one and at times they say i speak with a Canadian accent! Everyone likes the new me..more easygoing chilled out n lots of fun!
That's grt you are meeting up with an Indian family..keep me posted about that..
Yes i did read the mail u sent to my mom n even she read that..Thank you soo much for that i am pretty sure she felt that it was all worth it!
Well about culture shock. I just hate being back..I don't know why..I have just been used to leading sucha luxurious life, without any hassles or fights or arguments ..Life was perfect there! I wish i could fly back...!I miss Canada soo much..
AT times my wavelength doesn't match with my friends and family that frustrates me a lot...BUt I have learnt one thing there "my way or the highway" lolz..jus kidin! I at least stick up for myself now..
I got admission in HR college of commerce here in Mumbai..Its 45 mins train travel from my place and then i take a bus and walk..i reach college in just about an hour..so it's like 2 hours travel everyday..that's pretty OK..
People ask me about my trip general qtn; "How was Canada, how was your trip??"
The way they show they are excited to hear from me i know they equally wish i sum it all up in one sentence and say oh it was fabulous or awesome...
So i have quit talking about exchange ..but some are really interested so i feel good too..For me i know what it means to me so i just keep mum thanking god to give me this opportunity. I have a couple of frds who are studying in US and other places..so its a lot more fun to relate with another person leading a north American lifestyle..so ya all's cool..
It's raining cats and dogs here; I hate that! anyways that's all from here...
cya.
Love,shivani..
