Rotary Casino Fundraiser – What you need to know:

Who: Here is the roster. Hopefully these are accurate phone numbers. Please note the date and time you’ve been assigned.

What: The various job assignments are listed. You will be given instructions on your duties on your arrival. Don’t worry about rising to the challenge – these aren’t demanding tasks we’ve been assigned.

Where/wear: Casino Lethbridge 1251 – 3^rd Ave. S, 381 9476.

I’d suggest something washable – the air is pretty smoky and you will not want to wear the same clothing (again) until it is decontaminated.

When: Please arrive about ten or fifteen minutes before your shift. We have enough volunteers to cover if someone finds they are unable to take their assignment. There are rules about who has security clearance for each job so, if you make a trade, make it with someone with the same assignment as yours. LET ME KNOW OF ANY CHANGES OR, IF IT IS THE DAY OF THE CASINO, CONTACT YOUR SHIFT GENERAL MANAGER.

Why: Because you are a great bunch of Rotarians to volunteer for an event so close to Christmas. More importantly, there is a food budget! Here is a chance to fill up on some cholesterol-rich high calorie fried foods – like that’s what you need to do over Christmas…. Actually, there are some pretty good things on the casino menu.
