Rotarian of the Year Award:
The Club will select a Rotarian of the Year for recognition. Please send nominations to President Dave, dwhughes@telesplanet.net.

Major Projects:
Interfaith Food Bank-- The Club will assist the Interfaith Food Bank in developing a commercial kitchen along with a children's room to help in training individuals in nutrition and proper preparation of food. Lethbridge Association for Community Living -- The Club will provide funds to replace hot water tanks and furnace at one of the Association's residences.

International Service:
Bernie reported on the Russia Children's Hospital Project for the purchase of a cardiac monitor and related equipment. All funding is now in place. Good work, Bernie!

District Leadership Plan:
The members unanimously accepted the Board's recommendation that we support the proposed District Leadership Plan.

New Member News:

Program:
Ed Fetting explained the Junior Achievement objectives and introduced Ron Wiggers, Ryan Wiggers and Ashley Smith. Ron described his experiences as a volunteer with Junior Achievement, stressing the thrill of reaching young people in the classroom. There are a number of school-based programs for different grades, including Business Basics and the Economics of Staying in School. Ryan and Ashley described their experiences with Junior Achievement programs in their schools. If you are interested in volunteering with JA, please contact Ed Fetting.
