    Rotarians are your Friends
Membership recruitment reminder cards are on each table. "Remember, somebody invited you, now it's your turn".

    Outgoing Exchange Student
Megan Wutzke will be going to Belgium on August 19. We viewed a slide show of Canadian scenery and wildlife pictures she assembled. Megan is getting lots of advice from Allison who returned from Sweden. Frank The Vasilator reminds Megan that we expect some e-mails from her. She thanks us for allowing her to represent us in Belgium, and is looking forward to her year away.

    Returning Exchange Student
Allison thanks us for her opportunity to live in Sweden for a year, which she described as the funnest year she ever had. She also says our club is a lot more fun than her host club members who came, ate and left. Most memorable food was sour herring which is rotting fish, and blood pudding, neither of them got a second tasting. She joined the school choir, and went to aerobics with her classmates who are all health conscious.

While in Europe she went on an eight country junket, the highlight of the tour was the four country ghetto tour. Welcome back Allison, will we get a full report later?

    Sergeant At Arms
Ed extracted lots of happy bucks, but overlooked the week's sins and omissions, giving us all a break. Phew!

    SAA Quick Quiz Primer
We have more than 1.2 million Rotarians in the World in 31,256 Rotary Clubs.

    Draw
Megan drew $10 winner Mike McGuire and $5.00 winner Donna Allen.

    Remember, no Rotary next week!!!

Fortunately The Vasilator's hearing aid battery went dead, so he let us out early for good behavior.
